Xiomara Hadnot

I am Xiomara Valdes Hadnot, mother of 3 and I was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. I have worked for over 20 years with children.  I have dedicated my life to individuals, parents and teachers of those with behavioral disorders, low income populations, and those who have been marginalized. Having grown up in the area where I still currently reside, I have always known a city rich in diversity and full of acceptance.  I have also witnessed the many obstacles that still exist as we in our community strive to maintain and enhance that same diversity and sense of welcoming.

Xiomara’s Why: I have Biracial children who deserve a better world to live in. All people's children do. That's my why.
